Kingsway Care is a private homecare provider hiring part-time and full-time CareGivers across Brighton, Hove and Worthing. CareGivers earn £13.45 to £14.75 per hour, with higher rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays.Travel time between calls is paid, and drivers receive a mileage allowance. Contracts have fixed hours, with a minimum commitment to 12 hours per week. New starters complete a three-day induction and free Academy training leading to the Care Certificate, and no previous care experience is needed to begin the Care Certificate with us.

Visits are matched to where you live, so your routes stay local and travel stays short. Kingsway Care Academy
We don't throw you in at the deep end. Our three-day induction and free Academy training leads to the Care Certificate, plus regular specialist sessions on medication, moving & handling, and dementia care.

Flexible Hours

How much does Kingsway Care pay CareGivers?
Pay is £13.45 to £14.75 per hour, above the Brighton and Hove Living Wage on weekdays. Evenings, weekends and public holidays pay more, and travel time between calls is paid.
Do I need care experience?
No. Our three-day induction, shadowing visits and Academy training prepare you for your first visit, and we support you to complete the Care Certificate during a 12-week probation.
What training do I get?
You get a three-day in-person induction with shadowing visits and final observations before your first home visit. Ongoing training covers manual handling, hoists and medication, plus dementia care. We also fund NVQs and Diplomas in Health and Social Care.
What is the minimum number of hours?
The minimum is 15 hours per week on a fixed-hour contract.
Do I need a car or driving licence?
Drivers are preferred. Applicants need a UK driving licence and access to a car. Drivers are paid for travel time and mileage. One Kingsway Care branded pool car for drivers aged 25+ is available.
Do I have to work evenings or weekends?
Yes. We ask for at least one evening route a week (5pm to 10pm) and either every other weekend or one day each weekend, depending on the route. These hours pay at higher rates.
Can Kingsway Care sponsor my visa?
No. We cannot currently offer visa sponsorship, so applicants need the right to work in the UK.
